We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Please read our return policy carefully.
1. Live Poultry Guarantee
48-Hour Live Guarantee
We guarantee live arrival of all chicks and poultry for 48 hours from delivery.
Our Guarantee: All live chicks and poultry are guaranteed to arrive alive and in good health. We stand behind the health of our birds with a 48-hour live arrival guarantee.
Guarantee Coverage:
- 48-hour health guarantee from time of delivery
- Covers chicks that arrive dead or die within 48 hours due to shipping stress
- Limited to the purchase price of the affected birds
- Requires immediate notification and proper documentation
What Is Covered:
- Shipping-related stress mortality
- Obvious health issues present upon arrival
- Losses due to documented shipping delays
- Birds that arrive deceased
What Is NOT Covered:
- Mortality after 48 hours from delivery
- Losses due to improper care or handling by the recipient
- Environmental factors (temperature extremes, predator attacks, etc.)
- Illnesses contracted after delivery
- Failure to provide proper brooder setup
Claim Process:
- Contact us immediately within 48 hours of delivery
- Provide clear photos showing:
- The deceased bird(s)
- The shipping container
- The shipping label
- All packing materials
- Describe the circumstances of the arrival
- Follow our instructions for proper documentation
Important: Due to the nature of live animals, we cannot accept returns. All live bird sales are final except as covered by our live arrival guarantee.
2. Eggs
Farm Fresh Eggs: Perishable and not eligible for return. If you receive damaged eggs, please contact us within 24 hours with photos for a possible replacement.
2a. Hatching Eggs Guarantee
Important Guarantee Statement
We cannot guarantee hatch rates on shipped hatching eggs. Once eggs leave our facility, hatchability can be affected by conditions beyond our control including temperature fluctuations, handling, and transit time.
Our Guarantee: We do our best to ensure that our products reach their final destination as best as we can fully intact. However, due to variables we cannot control during shipping (jarring, temperature fluctuations, handling by carriers), we cannot guarantee any hatch rate.
What We DO Guarantee:
- If hatching eggs arrive broken or damaged during shipping, we will replace them or issue a full refund upon receipt of photos.
- We carefully package all eggs to maximize protection
- We use proper packing materials including egg cartons, bubble wrap, and cushioning
- We ship promptly from our healthy, well-maintained flocks
What We DO NOT Guarantee:
- Hatch rates - Too many variables affect hatchability after shipping
- Fertility rates - While we maintain high fertility, shipping can affect this
- Shipping conditions - We cannot control how packages are handled in transit
- Temperature fluctuations - Extreme temperatures can affect egg viability
- Transit time delays - Shipping carrier delays are beyond our control
Claim Process for Broken Eggs:
- Contact us within 24 hours of delivery
- Provide clear photos showing broken eggs, packaging damage, and shipping label

- Include your order number and description
Local Pickup Strongly Recommended: For the best hatch rates, we strongly recommend picking up hatching eggs directly from our farm in Newberry, MI.
3. Feed and Supplies
Unopened feed and supplies may be returned within 14 days of purchase for a full refund if:
- Product is in original, sealed packaging
- Product is not expired
- Customer pays return shipping
4. Meat Products
Frozen meat products are not returnable once thawed. If there is a quality issue, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos.
5. Order Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled before shipment for a full refund. Contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel.
6. Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If you receive a damaged or incorrect item:
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
- Provide photos of the damaged item and packaging
- We will arrange for replacement or refund
7. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days. Refunds will be credited to the original payment method.
